58 studies have linked fluoride with reduced IQ in children

To date, there have been 58 studies linking elevated fluoride exposure to a reduction in IQ of children. The gripping evidence resulted from studies covering 15000 children who were exposed to fluoride during early development. In 2012, after reviewing 27 of the 53 studies, Harvard scientists concluded that fluoride’s effect on developing children should be a “high research priority” (Choi, et al 2012).  Similar conclusions have been made by other reviewers, including the National Research Council (USA) as well as scientists within in the Neurotoxicology Division of the US EPA (Mundy, et al).
